Default Open or Closed End Lugs For Welds?

On the rear, I got the big boy studs - 1/2x20. The fronts are stock 12mm x1.5.

With the Weld Draglites, can I get away with the 12mm x 1.5RH, Closed End for the fronts and the 1/2'', Closed End for the rear or will I just need to run the open ended versions?

Thanks!

BTW: Jegs has the 15x10's for $166, the 15x8's for $139 and the 15x3.5's for $106. They all show in stock.

You need to run open-ended nuts to be NHRA-legal. The stud has to be in the hex part of the nut at least as far as the nut is wide too.

LOL!!!

I'm waiting to get my tranny back. I'm having it gone through over at D&D. Once it's in my hands, I'll install it and the rear all at once.

Then it's up to Canaduh to have Andre do his thing.

Speaking of Andre . . .
My car will be at Greg's shop probably all next week. If you get a chance, stop by and see how Andre tied into the subframe connectors - way cool!!! Oh yea, also look at the clearance on the main hoop to the headliner - about as tight as you could get it.

Cool, thanks Tom!

Hey what's your hold-up? I see your rear is just sitting and collecting dust?? Leave it there too long and Turbo will use it as a chew toy!!
