Threading or welding engine plate for remote water pump set up?

Default Threading or welding engine plate for remote water pump set up?

Trying to see if anyone has threaded or welded their front engine plates to accept remote water pump fittings directly.

Does anyone know if they sell some fittings/attachments that are designed to be welded on vs bolted on for a lower profile fitment?

I have a set of threaded adapter plated available that is exactly what you need. It is designed as a bolt-on as all the aftermarket ones are, but you probably could weld them to the plate if you really wanted. Cost is usually around 100 shipped.

I welded -12 male bungs onto my motor plate.... But had issues with cracking and have since gone to the meziere adapters.

That's interesting that you had cracking issues. I wonder what was the cause of the cracks.

Cracks were because the -12 bung didn't fit well over rectangular hole in the motorplate. Then clearing everything to fit, getting it bolted into the car etc had some flex.

I re welded twice before I called it quits and got the adapter blocks
