Default does this sound right?

ok for my mods i have a spintech catback, coated pacesetter's, ory, ls6 intake, asp pullies (alt and crank) jantzer tb, ssra, stealth lid, ngk tr55's thundervolt 10.5mm wires, and a centerforce cluch. the only type of weight reduction is my ultra z hood. this is all on a 00 z28 camaro, m6, 3.42 and stock tires (245/60/16). my best stock time was 13.8 at 108 after all my mods i ran a 13.5 at 105. my 13.5 run had a 2.3 60 launching at 2k rpm is this where my et is at? is something wrong? will a tune fix me up? i realize these questions are repetitive but it's bugging the crap out of me so any feed back will help. thanks, ron

Sounds like you need some major driving practice. I'd expect mid-high 12's out of those mods. I suspect you'd run low low 13's learning how to launch. Perhaps the rest is in your shifting. Its possible you could use some tuning as alot of times folks with those mods will be running super rich. Also.. I don't know if they still do, but the centerforce clutches did suck badly..

Peace,
Josh

2 years ago, when I first got my car I ran it out at Tulsa. Mods were air lid, short belt, skinnies, stock exhaust with cut out, drag radials and I went 12.9 @ 109 with a 1.9 short time.

Better driving should get you on down there. Not saying that I am by any means a good driver, I just got lucky!

sure but you need about 1 1/2 lbs of magic to make this thing hook.
