Default Wheel Tub

In the next couple months I am thinking of doing a wheel tub on my 2000 SS. I would like to run Convo Pro 15x14 with a 32/14.5-15 drag slick. I am not very knowledgable when it comes to a rear tub so any advice would be appreciated. I know I have to shorten the axle, but how much? What offset wheel would I need, or does that depend on the shortening of the axle. What size tubs have people done?

Thanks
Dave

Well your in for a lot of work. If I were you I would consider just going with some mini tubes and running no bigger than a 15x12 wheel and maybe a 30x13.5x15. If you really want to tub your car you can probably find a good chassis shop near you that will do it for $3000-$5000. For you to get an idea of what you would have to do go to chris alston they have back half set ups(probably not for our cars) but might would build you one... I might have helped you out a little if not this will be a TTT for ya!
