MT Sportsman Fronts
MT Sportsman Fronts Anyone here know the weight difference between the Standard vs. the 8 ply MT Sportsman 26x15 fronts? Could I also have some comments from anyone running them on a '98-'02 F-body? As far as the 8 ply thing, folks get away with running the VW 165SR15 raidals, which don't have near the load capacity of the weaker Sportsman Front, FWIW. I did have the 8 ply tires on the front of my car for awhile though, and they held up/drove nicely.

Re: MT Sportsman Fronts My 15x3.5 Draglites with a 8 ply MT Sportsman came in at 30 lbs each.
Switched to Moroso DS2s and now they come in at 22 lbs each. 16 lbs of rotational weight is a nice savings IMO.
