(On skinnies), I drive thru the water, do a one spin of the tires, pull to the front of the water.

I have the gear selecter in 2nd, and I wack it and let it shift into second, I hold that for a bit, and then I shift into 3rd, and then i roll out...

I don't like leaving it in 3rd because it will shift into 3rd before the tires are even hot.

I drive through the water to just the wet edge of the burnout box. Press the brake pedal, hit the linelock button, and gently give it some throttle. Quickly shift into 2nd, then 3rd, hit it and let go of the linelock and roll out of the water with the tires smoking...

...And as a special "I'm bored as Hell bonus" here's a short video of one of my first burnouts w/the linelock hooked up. I wasn't expecting the tires to start turning over quite so easily <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Even with skinnies I drive AROUND the water box.
Back into the center.. quick spin..
Roll toward the front edge, gear selector in 2.. and burnout.

Then I carry it foward 5-10 ft.

I do the line lock thing but I just start in third and stay there. Am I not getting the burn I would other wise if I were to go to 2nd and 3rd?
