OK this should settle all questions. First off forget LPE, go to your dealer. Next will be a couple pictures of my front hub with the disc brake, 5/16 spacer and my centerline skinnys. You should be able to pass tech with flying colors

has to be the THREADED part of the stud that extends one diameter (12mm) into the hex portion of the lug nut though

Pardon my ignorance but why do you want longer studs? Thanks for any help.

Some rules states that the studs need to be so long to pass tech. I will be running skinnies up front and I need to use a spacer. If I use stock studs they are not long enough to pass tech at the drag strip. If you run slicks the stud has to stick so far through the lug nut. I don't know the exact length but with my new studs I'll pass just fine.

really none of the tracks i ever run at check front stud length, and i drove and raced all last year with stock studs and pro stars with 5/16 spacers. the lugs threaded on enough to not really worry me. this winter i put the longer ARP studs in the front hubs though. starting to prepare for when i come down from my first big wheelie this year

When I recover from grinding the rears I'll tackle the fronts. With that done I should be able to drop the spacer and be just fine with the ARP's.

Thanks for the help guys!

I measured the stock ones after I got them out. Total length = 2" The ARP ones that I got (P#100-7708) are 2 3/4" long.

Thanks!

Since it was the only 12mm ARP I'm pretty sure that they are the same, just wondering about the size difference.

I measured the full length of the stud (including the seat) to make it easy. The seat is about 1/4".
