Default $10 driveshaft loop

not sure exactly were to put this post, but last time i went drag raceing, the track offical said i need a DS loop to be legal. considering that i did not want to drill any holes in the car, dont have money for a $100 BMR, i have true duals, and mainly becuase i am a cheap ***, i went over to the local steel place and bought some 1/4 steel strips and a plate and when to work. dam, steel is getting expensive, i had to pay like $10 for every thing. anyways, here is a couple of pics. it clears my true duals perfect and i am positive that the drive shaft is not going any where if it lets go.

Looks great and will probably work just as good as the way more expensive versions but don't they have to be certified?

thanks guys. i am not sure if it does have to be certified, but i dont think that they will say anything at the track as long as i have one. hopfully i will never have to acually use it.
