Awesome drag conditions again-will it hook though?
So if the track hooks, good times will be run by all. It's Motown Muscle day, so there will be a lot of f-bodies there too.
Hope you guys all ran well.
cheers,
Chris

It was a great day at the track! Tons of guys came from Michigan, and I was in heaven because there were at least 6 or 7 nice LS1 Formulas, including a WS6 Formula and my favorite, a Firehawk Formula!
My car ran very well, pretty much where I had hoped, I ran a 13.89 at 98.24mph, and backed it up with a 13.90 and a 13.95. Here is my best slip:
60ft-2.045
330-5.819
660-8.948
mph-79.11
1/4-13.891
mph-98.24
Keep in mind, my 95 Formula is totally bone stock, other than those tires, although I probably could've duplicated the same 60fts with GSCs or other similar stock type tires anyways. At my power level I don't really need super sticky tires all that much. I'm sure these tires on a more powerful car would produce 1.8 60fts or better, since they are very very soft tires. On all my runs I was launching off idle and going immediately full throttle, with no spin out of the hole. It would spin a tiny bit past the launch pad though, which I think helped since it got the rpms up a bit and got the car into the powerband. I tried one run torquing it up slightly but it spun, I think that lane was temporarily messed up (probably from a few ricers that went through it soon before I ran)
So even though I've got a fairly strong LT1, I still plan on getting an LS1 Formula in the next few year again. I'd really love to see these tires on a bone stock LS1 and see how it does, I bet 12.9s would be super easy.

I ran mine today too. Got a best of 13.22 @ 109.3, with a bad 2.3 60 ft. My F1's are pretty much bald <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
