Can a carbon fiber body look like the stock panels?
Is it possible to make a light weight frame?
What makes this car so damn fat??
This is a project street car, not my only car.
I want my car to weigh dry 25xx lbs, that is with full cage, most of the interior 100 lbs of other misc. stuff like subframes.

there is a weight reduction list somewhere in this forum. look it up in the search engine. other than that. look over the car with a fine tooth comb for stuff that is not needed.
Chris
This would be a good place to start, $3500 bucks and weighs 135 lbs (fiberglass).
Need a dash? 250 bucks, 4 lbs.

All chrome moly suspension pieces will save some weight as well. Check this thread for a pretty hardcore setup.

As others have pointed out its a pointless goal. Just buy a cobra kit car and throw an LS1 setup in it.

Nawww, I'll stick with the z28 and 2599 is still my goal as a street car but thanks for the input.
