Re: Screws and Slicks. I think screws are a good safety feature. 60ft times are only part of it. If you drop your pressure down to 14 psi or less, screws can save you alot of trouble. I put mine on when I first went to slicks. They are a cheap investment, and good insurance that you wont have a problem.

Re: Screws and Slicks. I would use screws if you plan to run the tires at 10psi.
Keep in mind that the car will sway like crazy and generally feel unsafe at that low of a psi.
I run 14-15psi with ET Streets and do not use screws anymore.
