Default Changes for next time at the track :)

Well had an interesting day at the track last saturday <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

But this saturday going to make some changes <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

1) find out the problem with my rev limiter and set at 7000rpm where it belongs <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

2) 26 inch ET street instead of the 28 inch ET drag

3) Go to a track with a WORKING timing system and track prep.

4) try and find enough time to remove my Cruise Control and foglights <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Hoping for 120mph with the changes and a sub 11.50 ET.
Cheers,
Chris

ARE 360 with 2.02/1.57 valved 5.3 heads, 226/234 112LSA cam...
119.1mph with 5500 1-2 and 5700 2-3 shift point. Best ET coming soon <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Sounds like a plan, but if you spun last time why would you go back to a smaller tire?

IMO I would bring both sets and swap back and forth after you max out the 28" ones.

Honestly if you hit 119mph with low shift points I'm thinking you can go 121mph but I don't want to jinx you Pippinator. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I dont have room in the car to fit both sets of slicks and skinnies plus the wife and dog <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Wade managed to run 9.4 on these ET Streets at Cayuga so I "should" be able to hook with them at Grand Bend (Provided there is good conditions)
Just experimenting to see how everything works <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I am looking forward to a pass with good launch, clean shifts and a 7000rpm rev limit <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Cheers,
Chris

Chris' logic makes sense, as Grand Bend hooks much harder than the other two tracks here, so even with a smaller tire, he'll still end up 60 footing better there. I know he'll run 11.3s for sure, as long as it's not too hot this weekend (it's warmed up drastically since Saturday)
