Hate to ask this question, but got to!
Thanks,

As for your launch, you just gotta practice and find where your car can launch. On street tires I'd have to say drop the air to about 22-24 and just go out around 2K or 2500 if you can slip the clutch til you feel movement then let it rip. Depends on how good the track is you are going to. The stickier it is the better and better chance you will get a good launch to go out at 2500.
You just gotta go there.....hard to explain but that's what I would do. The harder the track hooks the higher I launch with mine. I am on drag radials tho....you might want to pick up those too before you go.
Try it is all you can do.
1) gently spin the tires in the waterbox and move forward about 3-4 feet to an area that is just damp.
Do your burnout in second gear, bring the revs to 6000rpm and hold it till the tires start to bite
2) let off the brake/linelock but still let the tires spin as you roll forward. You'll feel them suddenly bite. Then you know you are ready

3) Stage and bring up the revs (depending on how the track is behaving this could be 3500rpm to 7000rpm)

4) On the third yellow floor the gas and lift straight up on the clutch at the same time as fast as you can.
Be sure to floor it as you lift the clutch straight up or you'll bog and then spin as the chassis loads/unloads. Also dont sidestep the clutch, unnecessary shock on the drivetrain and tires

Oh yeah and burnouts to me are the most fun.

i dont entirely let off the gas, if i had a built bottom end i'd hold it pinned to the floor
