Recommendation of Rear Sway Bar
I would give the BMR X-Teme duty bar a good hard look
It probably also depends on what springs you're using, I'm using the Eibach prokit and my car likes to leave straight. You might think about tighter rear springs.

Jantzer--I am definitely going to try the RR air bag first and the poly end things for the current sway bar. I will set the Hal a little stiffer on the right rear. I respect you very much for your recommendations because of your current achievement. Question if you read this post. I just tried my ET Streets on 15 by 8 & 1/2 wheels (convo pros) and the best 60'was 1.65. I had my Hals set at two in the front and three in the back. The car seems to sway just at little bit when I first take off. The tires spin for two to three feet then catches and goes. Can you give me any advice as to what I need to do to get a better 60'. BTW, I did not run skinnies that day--I assume this might have hurt my 60'time with more weight on the front. My goal is the run 11.50 one day. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
Again, thanks for the replies. Jantzer thanks a million for sharing your knowledge with me on this post and past others. One day I want to see that car you drive. Kent
So I put on KYB AGX - thier 1 setting equates to OEM - and I run max 8 on the right and 5 on the left. I get consistant 1.74-1.77 - no spinning - on bolt ons, a Y3200 TC, LCAs/PHR my only other suspension mods and 16" Hoosier QTPs at 17LBs hot.
I talked with QA1 and 5/6 is thier OEM setting. So if you want to stiffen up the rear, you may want to try setting your rear HALs in the 11/12 range on the right and 8/9 on the left.
As far as sway bar, I'm going to give the Addco 1" solid bar a try - since this is also my daily driver - in combo with a Randem Tech TA.
Good Luck

What if you made one of the endlinks on the swaybar a little longer than the other for the dragstrip. It would only take a few minutes to swap out one endlink, and it would preload the cars suspension...
I'm only running 1.7x 60's, but my car launches so straight you could take your hands off the wheel. It has a 21mm solid rear, KYB's at f 1/1 r 6/5. at ET Streets at 15psi.
I have always run my fronts at 3 or looser. Last time at the track I was running them at 1/1 in front. (1-12, 12=stiffest)
Now with the rears, I'd run them with different settings. You should not need an airbag or a new rear bar. I am running the rears at 6 for the D-R, and 9 for the R-R. If I need to I will go up to 8 for D-R, and 10-11 for the R-R.
My car leaves straight as an arrow. I have cut a best of 1.51 on 26x11.5x15 ET Street/15x10 Pro Star combo, with the tires at 15psi cold and a 5 second burnout mostly in 2nd gear.
I do not think changing the torque arm will stop a car from torquing over. I have the RT torque arm.
My car used to leave like this a few years ago:

McRat-I appreciate the suggestion on endlinks on the rear sway bar. Never would have thought of that. Thanks for sharing information of shock and tire settings.
Pro Stock John-Man is that an impressive 60'time. I hope and hope I can equal that one day. I am definitely going to try your Hal's settings in the rear and experiment a little bit. Maybe I can get somebody to video my launches and make adjustments for better launch control and faster 60'times. Thanks for sharing details on burnout in second and tire pressure setting.
Thanks to everyone for your replies and suggestions. I am definitely going to adjust the suspension in the rear until I find the right combination for my car. I my be limited in the 60'time with my vig 3200, I don't know. However, because of budget, I am going to maximized current setup and try other tweaks. I did order new sway bar as listed above and a new right rear air bag. I am also seriously considering a BMR K-Member and upper and lower control arms for additional weight savings on the front to assist in weight for better 60' time. Next time at the track I am going to run skinnies and slicks at the same time to see what happens--Wish me luck I will need it. Not trying to write too much but I love to drag race and work on my car and make it faster and keep it streetable at the same time. If anyone has time to add to suggestions on my car, please do and I will appreciate it--KENT
