Will I run out of gear? Will mods that make the engine "rev up faster" increase the chances of shifting into overdrive before the end of the track? (ASP pulley, higher stall) Will those two coupled with 3.73s make me run out of gear before I reach the 1/4 mark?

Re: Will I run out of gear? IMO, NO. You can adjust your shift points for each gear with a hypertech program, custom programming, or LS1edit. You want to stay in third gear going at the end of the quarter for maximum acceleration. I run 3:73 gears, 3200 stall convertor, ASAP Pulley, Custom Programming, etc, and the car works fine.
