Guessing you have a clutch tamer? How do you keep it from slipping 2nd, 3rd and 4th, i.e., so it only slips on launch?

The yoke on the driveshaft is fine, its a PST 3.5" driveshaft, however the output shaft splines may be twisted.

Yea i accidentally built the car with a stock fuel pump, so it leaned out a ton. I have since changed the pump but have not gotten it re-tuned to see if i can pick up more power.

Lol. If you think the splines on the output shaft will twist before the slip yoke, you got another thing coming. Unless you got the good chromoly strange or mark Williams yoke, it will happen. You don't have to believe me but I've seen it numerous times on my car. I had a strange 3" chromoly DS with their basic slip yoke. Twisted splines just by leaving hard on the street.

I'm letting it slip in all gears at the moment. I've been brain storming some about what I could do about that. I want to have something disengage it very quickly with hardly any effort. I'll figure something out eventually.

One other way to launch your t56 is to use a McLeod soft-lock clutch or other brands clutch like the Soft-lock, it allows up to one revolution of slip on launch avoiding the drive line "SHOCK", these style of slip clutches are used in many stock eliminator stick classes.
