I need some help!
Last year I ran a best of 12.89 @ 105 with a pretty stock set up, 3200 Yank, Nittos, cutout, & lid. It was at a track I normally don't go to, but I had trapped 105 at the normal place we go, before the converter install.
I added an ASP pulley, MACs, off road y, Hooker cat back, ported TB, LS6 cam, raised the shifts points to 6300 & added BMR LCAs.
The car has not picked up at all-12.85 @ 105.61.
The car traps at 85 in the 1/8 & 105 in the 1/4, just about the same as last year.
I haven't had the car dynoed this year and it is not throwing codes. It pulls hard, to me, I just can't understand why I didn't find any mph or ET. Any suggestions are very helpful at this point!
Thanks!
Jason
My run in the 12.8s last year was in October, good weather, but I was expecting to be in the 12.8s because I went 13.2s before the converter. I have been to the track twice this summer, the first time the weather was horrible, so I didn't get too concerned. Last weekend the high was 76*, humidity was between 38% & 42%, barometric pressure fell from 30.13 to 30.09, wind was 6-10 mph.
I would start looking at the weather. What was the difference between the weather on the 2 run? What about the difference in the 60 ft times?
Coach
for all you know the car could be running really fat and killing HP as well. just because there are no codes thrown doesn't mean it is running properly .
sounds like weather is a factor, too, but i agree you still should have picked up a bit if the sixty foots are similar or same.
are you lockign the converter at all? doesn't sound like it from that mph.
I am not locking the converter...

have you considered running more stall?
I thought I'd be happy with a tight 3200, the car is pretty much my daily driver, but it isn't enough for me. At this point I don't no how long I am going to keep this car, so I think a bigger stall is out of the question.
