Scratching away.....
Scratching away..... well, tonight was a fun night. got 11 runs in at the track. was pretty empty, but people wre breaking everywhere. so that took up a lot of time. for the first time, i decided to try some trophy racing(bracket). and i got 2nd place!!! i left the shifter in 2nd after my burnout so it tapped off the limiter in the final round so that probably cost me the win.
now the important stuff...
got a new best. instead of 12.32, i got a 12.31 @ 109.7mph. The best part about it, is with all those runs, i played with the launches. i found out how my car likes to be launched. stall it up to 2k at the line and then let it fly instead of flashing off idle. i got my 60ft on that new best run down a 1.68. The best part is i hotlapped the car 3 more times...and the 60ft's were ALL 1.68-1.69. So i'm happy i found out a way to get that better 60ft.
And the best part....i got AIR. i could feel on the launch the rear squatting, then the front rising, then i could feel the front tires coming back down and hitting the ground. it is an AMAZING feeling. thanks to all for your advice in my other posts. I think i've reached the limit of the car, so now it's decision time...some more power mod bolt-ons, or go with a different converter. thanks again.

EDIT---and another funny thing...even at only a 12.31, i STILL got the nitrous accusation. hope i don't hit 11's soon and have to actually let them tear apart the car looking for a bottle <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
