make a prediction I would like to know what yalls predictions are for a car that I am building for someone. The car is a 1940 Ford completly restored. Powered by a blown 540ci Big block chevy. This motor is built for boost from a BDS 871 blower and methanol Enderle injection hat with 12.5:1 comp. Drive train consist of a TH400 4500 stall with brake and 9 inch Ford with 3:70 gears. Approx. power levels are 1400hp and 1100 ftlbs of tq. The car weighs 2900 lbs. Stall and gears my change after first initial run. TIA

I'll say 8.9-9.2 simplyt cause the first time out with somehting like that is full of surprises.
Should be solid low 8 car once bugs are worked out....make even sneak out a 7 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I think if the car is set up right and can take the power it will do more than "sneak" into the 7's.
