Congratulations! Great reaction times. I've been racing my TA and my fiance's Z28 (both LS1) in brackets and indexed heads-up this year and have been pretty surprised how consistent they've been. I won an 8.00 index race 2 weeks ago. I ran 8.04 every single round of eliminations (and my last qual pass) whether I was lifting or just dumping. We were on a .500 pro tree and on the dry shot (full throttle shot) I was having mid .5xx RTs which is decent for a street car, mild converter, on radials. I have the stock converter back in my car right now and it's so tight I can shallow stage on a full tree and be in the .520 range almost every pass. Being able to win in the street cars sure does make it easier waiting on my race car to be ready!

Thanks.

Pretty good Kristi. I'd love to run off of a headsup tree. Curious as to how I would do.

My first WIN!!!!!! w00t!!!!!!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I had no plans on going to the track due to the 90+* and 150% humidity. Then my buddy Snake Charmer called me to see if I was going because he wanted to do some shakedown runs on his ATI 10#, so I said WTF.

My first rnd: 7.96 on 7.95dial, .024 RT Not bad eh?

My worst RT all night was a .028

I thought I burned my trans up in the Semi's. I had a bye run; I do my burnout, stage, brake to 3000rpm and wait for the lights to start down. I wait and wait and wait some more. I'm giving the "WTF" sign to the starter and he's giving me the "I don't know WTF sign" back. I sat on the line for a good 25secs stalled @3k rpm. I go to let off and the lights start so I got back into it and launched. It was like I was in 2nd gear coming out of the hole. Trans slipped like a ****'r, so I just coasted to a 12.**.

I go and bitch the starter out and he said it's the tower fookin up. Said he'd been cussing them all night. They need to get their **** together. I'm not going out there to **** up parts because they have their heads up their asses.

They shut down for awhile to let the Super Pro cars cool off after the semi, so I had a good 15mins to let her cool down before the final. Spun like a bitch and ran 8.08 on 7.94 dial, .016 RT. I was hyped to say the least when I saw the win light!
