Tire size difference and effect on E.T. question!!!! I normaly run 26x10.5x16 E.T STREETS and get 1.78-1.80 60ft and run 12.45-12.50 at 113.
A friend is lending me his 28x11.5x16 E.T, STREETS, what if any difference should I see.
Besides finding a calculator that says I will trap about 500 RPM lower,I cannot find a calculator that will give ET/MPH differences??

without mods and rpm shifting and trap rpm, it's hard to say. Normally the taller you go without a motor & gear to handle the increase, you'll likely lose a little on the 60 foot and possibly the et but gain a bit of mph. When I switched from 26 x 11.5 x 15 et streets (26 x 10 measurement) to 28 x 11.5 x 15 et streets (27.5 x 8.9 measurement) I lost about 2 hundredths on my 60 foot but didn't lose any et in the 1/4 and gained about .5 mph. Finish line rpm came down from 6100 to 5800-5900.
