Default Poor prep and transbrake slick

Our tracks prep should be consider no prep. I'm thinking leaving off trans brake and nitrous. A soft wall slick would be best choice. Not mini tube but don't mind a little beating. What is stickiest. 600 whp at 3400

I run a stiff wall M&T with a similar set up and it does pretty well on a crappy to mediocre surface. 26x10x15. Stepping up to a 28 though

my car weighs almost 3,400lbs race weight so I have to run a stiff wall. Our track has shitty prep. I have ran the hoosier 28x10.5 and the M/T 28x10.5 I cant really tell a difference.

Soft wall is for super light cars. The stiffwalls work great on no prep. That’s what everyone runs on the street. That should tell you something

Pretty much what Blk00ss said. Heavy car off the trans brake is going to hit the tires really hard and a stiff wall just handles it better. Plus I don't like the way a regular slick feels at the end of the track.

Normally 16 psi. Just enough to see smoke roll up. Not very long
