Default New best and I pulled a tire..WHEEEE

I know I am a slow LS1 but here goes.....Went to Cecil today...Had a bud that wanted to run his WS-6 and I was curious about the cam BEFORE tuning....

First run in 90 degree heat:

60' 1.72
330 5.09
1/8 7.936 My first 7 sec 1/8th
MPH 86.16
1000 10.394
1/4 12.45@109

The best I could muster before was a 12.7@106.

Ended up with a new best of 12.42 @ 104...on the brakes for brackets

The best thing was after the second run my buddy J. told me he thought that I pulled a tire on the launch. I thought bull****.

Two videos later you can see it. The front left doesnt move for about a foot and a half after the launch

I have never been more excited about this car. I didnt get a good one from the factory(13.8 bone stock)but I am makin do with what I got.

I think after tuning I got a car on the verge of a cage......

Thanks Dave.....No pullin the tires wasnt my goal but I have never owned anything that would.

There were a couple of people who were amazed besides me and I just thought it was cool.

SFC's are my next purchase.

Later, Stu

Bone stock suspension and the stock 16's on it with BFG DR's on the back...255/50/16...and 245/50/16 Comp TA's on the front.

The only thing I have done to it is pull the front sway bar and AC delete.

Thats why I was so surprised....I am gonna get Prostars soon so might be able to pull it even farther.

Damn, that's some nice numbers for a bone stock car. Looks like Salvo will be getting him a 2002 himself! Sucks he had that happen to his car, but looks like he will make it out pretty well
