Racing wo/ a hood? Has anyone ever seen an fbody raced wo a hood? I took my hood off to weight it and I'm waiting for my new pin on hood to arrive. I've been driving the car with no hood. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I wouldn't mind racing 1/8th mile this Thursday. Has anyone tried !hood?

I kept running the rest of the weekend, but I lost about 3-4 mph (if I remember correctly) from what I was running that day with the hood.

Re: Racing wo/ a hood? you will go slower even in the 1/8 mile, maybe you can use a roll of duct tape and make a hood from tape! it would be lighter then <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> wood!
