Default WOT shifts with 2 step......

I'm trying to decide on some sort of switch, be it manual or rpm window, to keep from bouncing off the 2 step rev limiter when shifting at wide open throttle. What do you guys think???

you could set it up what when your linelick is on your window switch is active..that you could leave on your line lock and the two step then it would be non functional on the WOT shifts. This may make it harder on burnouts though as you would be limmited to the rpms. Or do it like i did mine. A microswitch on the clutch pedal. Its active when the clutch is ont he floor for launch but not in between shifts..as long as you don't clutch all the way to the floor you would be fine.

Joe

It's designed to be a one shot deal on the launch if you use the clutch switch w/ a second arming switch.

goes like this

stage
clutch in
push and release the arm switch
got to WOT
dump clutch

once you release the clutch, the 2 step stays off for the rest of the run.

Thanks Harlan.... I was wondering but the one shot deal answers my question. I drove a Super Gas car for a guy that was manual shift with a 2step and we ran into that problem but since you already got it covered you da man!!!!
