Best EFI system
With all the available EFI systems out there that guarantee all kinds of power. Which one is the best of them all? I am currently running a 408ci LS1 in a 02 fbody. Looking to install a EFI system that i can tune myself and eliminate having to wait wait for my tuner to have time for a track day. Any experience with any of the following systems or have any better suggestions.

First off no aftermarket EFI system guarantees anything. Just saying you have a 408 tells me you should be running a stock computer since that's the computer that was specifically designed for it, you just need to learn a bit more to tune it since it's not as simple as many aftermarket computers.

I agree with NicD. The OEM computers are built to much higher standards than the aftermarket EFI systems. They have better noise filters and the circuitry is better designed as they must work in hostile environments. The major benefits to the aftermarket EFI systems are the flexibility to run multiple platforms easily, ease of tuning, and racing specific options like N2O/boost/rev limit/timing retards, etc. However, you will not have the tuning resolution in fine tuning with aftermarket EFI as you would with the OEM setups but you will have an easier time dialing in the tune due to the integrated wideband and automatic corrections. Aftermarket EFI systems will require proper grounding and wiring practices which make them not as plug and play as they seem.
To answer your original post, If I were picking an aftermarket EFI system today it would be Holley Dominator. I am running FAST XFI but my setup is old school LTX and did not have the luxury of the LSX pcm when I did my build.
In addition, if you need to pass OBD2 inspection you will not be able to do it with aftermarket EFI unless you are very savvy with how the OEM computer functions and communicates with the tester. I was able to do it but it was A LOT of work and trial and error figuring out the test parameters as well as wiring up sensors and resistors to read correctly.
Good Luck!

So my second question to you both is. How do you get around having to pay for credits everytime you want to change something? And how well does stock handle boosted applications? That's were the build is headed.

Don't have any experience with others but I like the Holley Dominator, I'm a newbie when it comes to EFI but it was relatively easy for me to learn quickly with it.

I run the Ms3 Evo. For the price and options I havent used anything I like as much. Currently run them in every customer vehicle I can persuade into it.
