installed Lightweight carpet Well I finally got the carpet and holly crap it doesnt weigh anything compared to the factory stuff it prob weighs about 8-10lbs. I got it in a roll from a local upholstery shop they charged 20 a yard and it only took about 3 1/2 yards to complete it. They matched it perfect with the original color <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> they can get any color under the sun. I had to make all the cuts and holes for the seat which made it like work <img border="0" alt="[whiner]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" /> It took about a solid 5 hours and a 12 pak of Dew to complete the project. Re: installed Lightweight carpet how many yard do you need? and can you get it wide enough to go all the way across the side to side and front to back so that there aint any seams?

And It looks great! I wasnt really sure about this mod, until I saw how good it ended up looking.

Re: installed Lightweight carpet Jason, the interior noise really has not increased to much I am ruuning the 4" single out Mufflex as well and that is pretty loud to begin with .... I will be throwing your old 4.30's in it this next weekend <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
rnr27band1 , you will need 3 1/2 yards to complete it I ran mine the lenth as the factory carpet the carpet I got was pretty wide I had about a extra foot on each side that I had to cut and there are no seems in it as well <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Matt, if you drive it up on a Saturday or Sunday we can knock it out <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> It only takes a day for my buddy to get the carpet at his shop <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I buy the carpet and the spray glue for it and install it and you by the crap to install my battery in the rear and hook it up for me <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
