Default Jegster roll cage

Has any one had any experience with this roll cage? I just noticed it in my Jeg's catalog and was wondering if any one has used one of them. I am not sure if the are bolt in or weld in. There are many different points available(4,6,8,10,12) I'll probaly be goin with the 6 or the 8 which are <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> $149.99 and $199.99 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> .

Thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I don't have any personal experience with it, but it is a weld-in type bar which will require some know-how to install. It's pretty much the same deal as the SW rollbar, if you've ever seen/heard of them. You'll have to notch the bar ends and trim the door bars/rear bars depending on where you place them, and of course TIG weld it together (I'm not sure if it's legal to MIG weld a rollbar for a 10.0-up car).

In any case, it's not a plug and play type deal...

I believe you can MIG a mild steel cage, but TIG is required on a Chromoly cage.

You can see some of the stuff I did to put in my S&W

near the bottom, http://harlan-engineering.com/hawk/mods/mods.html

I've done a few more since then, invest in a tubing notcher if you're gonna do it. It cuts the install time more than in half

good luck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
