which car will trap higher

both are 3600lbs+, m6's, 4:10s, same bolt ons, same cam.

car 1:
stage 2 heads
full 3" exhaust out the back
power steering
17" all around
stock water pump
SSRA

car 2:
stock heads
dual cutouts
shortbelt mod
lightweight drag wheels with skinnies
electric water pump
BG ram air

basically, can the car with the stage 2 heads, street setup trap higher than the car with stock heads and the "race" setup?

Get your 60' time down to were the other car your talking about is and your ets will drop and mph will go up. He is cutting 1.70 60's I believe.

tileman, who you are thinking of? this is a buddy of mine that races at quaker. he has a black 99 SS. he's more into the drag racing scene and im more into the street racing thing and this is a little bet we got going on.

his cam is a xe-r 232/232 on a 112 i believe.

I would bet car #1 would trap higher because it's making more power. Car #2 may win the race with better et due to the race setup. Et is won out of the hole. Car #2 has the tires to hook and that can mean alot. I would predict car #1 to trap right around 120 and car #2 around 112-114. Do either of these cars have headers???
