Trevor, the 1.82 60ft is slow the car just doesn't leave hard at all, 1-2 shift is awful it will buck you forward in the seat,I think the car will really like the gear and the TM has got to go,I hope we see that kind of improvement after the tuning and gear swap.

No, I am not marrying John Ryan, mmmkay? I am marrying John Payne (see above) who has been reading this site for a long time but has just registered. We're from the same area but we met in KY... how weird is that?

The shifts are especially horrible because we don't have the shift kit installed yet. Our trans guy is getting lazy!

Y'all have to get a license plate frame that says House of Payne or a plate that says PAYNEFL.

I know exactly what you're talking about John. The stock shifts are ridiculous. Just driving around town will make you mad; I know it did me! The shift kit made such a HUGE difference just in the drivability of the car, but the tq. mgt. got even worse @ WOT. We can't win for losing sometimes. I'm running two shims, but I could easily run three w/ as loose as this converter is. I bet y'all will see a similar gain from the gears and tuning.

Man, those tranny guys are always slow.

Well, PSJ, you could get us that QTP electric cutout

Short of that, we're registered at Target
Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Bromberg's (China here)

Our registries are under either name, John Payne or Kristi Hallman, state of Alabama.

Everyone feel free to buy gifts or send money (I accept Paypal) LOL

Joe's gonna have a coronary when he sees how his thread has turned into the John and Kristi Love Saga

I had to remind John continuously that it defeats the purpose to scan the entire store! And NO, you may not scan that big screen TV!

I did let him scan a DVD player and someone has bought it for us! LOL

ROFL! Ryan, I can see you now scanning the ENTIRE electronics department, among other things. Someone probably bought y'all a Coleman lantern for a wedding present, and Amber is still trying to figure out why.

Kristi, it's good to know where y'all are registered. To bad you didn't tell ALL of your friends about it. And there is NOTHING wrong with a bigscreen TV! They just suck when you have to carry them up and down stairs.

If someone was kind enough to buy it(the big screen),I would gladly pay the delivery fee

BTW, I would also be happy to supply a list of gift ideas

Kristi,
Y'all are going with the quicktimeperformance electric cutout? Just put one on a buick a couple of months ago.. Very trick piece..
Quite intriguing to people when you open it on the fly or as you are next to them.
It's seems to have high quality construction and a strong motor, however, (as most made to this point) it does not always close "completely".

Not really a problem, just a little annoying..

That's great news John and Kristi! I hope you guys have a nice, enjoyable wedding.

Anything you guys need for the car, just make me a list and I'll see what I can do. You can list heads/cam, but I can't promise anything.
