What Gain With Welds ? Just bought Weld Pro Stars 15/8, and 15/4 front. Et streets rear. What gains do you think I will see at track over stock 17' wheels with 275/40/17 all the way around? I currently run Nittos on rear, but am curious what the lighter wheels and skinnies up front will give. Im going to the track this sunday to find out for sure! Thanks!

Re: What Gain With Welds ? Yea Colonel, guilty as charged. I got 26x10.5x15. I hook pretty well with my nittos. They have done a good job of track prep lately. But, I realize the limitations of the nittos and leave around 3300 with my M6. Best 60' to date is 1.84 at a 3610lb race weight.

Re: What Gain With Welds ? I think you'll pick up that just from the rotating mass reduction and weight lost. Add in the fact that you'll be able to 60 ft better with a higher RPM clutch drop and you may see more like 2.5-3 tenths total.
