Got some shakedown testing done tonight...
A glide would be cool, but I hope you give the beefed up 350 one last try.
best of luck with everything. How are your pulsewidths looking? What did you set your FP at afterwards?
Cheers,
Chris
I've been trying to talk myself into a glide for my next setup. It's not the 1st gear that bothers me. I can make up for that with 5.13 gears. It's the HUGE drop between 1st and 2nd gear. I would be better geared for more of the track with a 3 speed. 'Course, that Glide sure is light! Hmmm...rotating mass reduction + weight reduction = makes up for gearing disadvantage???
BTW, congrats on the successfull shakedown runs. Sounds like she's gonna haul some serious ***!
Congrats on the times man!! Glad to see the car is not gonna stay in the garage the entire 2002 season You just seem to have the luck on breaking things though Seems the new piece will do the job, sorry I missed the initial outing. Saturday night was rain again (wow surprise??) Hopefully after a few weeks I'll be back out at the track again, and you'll have your beast in the 10.40s or better with a hook! By the way, is John stealing leftover parts from you for his red twin now??
Derek
The 'glide went in today, so I should have the car out Wednesday to see how well the car is going to work with a 2-speed.
