Default Brake systems on S10

Not sure if this thread belongs here but couldnt find a better spot.

Got a 95 ecsb s10 throwing together with goals to be sub 10 second range within next year or two and was wondering what front brakes guys are using on these? Doesnt seem to be any one company anyone is using and most threads I see about it are for looks more than function. Id rather have function. Obviously there are Behr and Brembo and Wilwood but was wondering what else someone has used. Or is anyone using the stock ones for that matter? The rear end will be a 8.8 or 9" and will have disc associated for that so not worried about those right now. Just trying to get this front end figured out.

You can look up LS1 front brake swap or Blazer front brake swap. Both are dual piston calipers and help a lot with braking. The LS1 brake swap involves adapter brackets, machining your stock front rotors down to a hub, and using 98-02 Fbody front calipers and rotors. The blazer swap has you swapping the entire spindle asm along with the brakes. I have the LS1 brakes for my 97 SS when ever the time comes.
