Afco Double Abjustable shock settings
Afco Double Abjustable shock settings I have a 2001 Camaro SS with stock bilstein in the front and afco DA in back. My car hooks 95% of the time, the 5% being on marginal tracks at best. The rear Rebound/extension has 50 total clicks total and mine is 8 off full stiff. Compression has 24 clicks and is full stiff. Any adjustments that need made? I've been reading that you want a stiffer compression to help plant the radials. I mostly just foot brake but have left off the trans brake as well
My buddy had this setup when he had bias ply on the car and I've never messed with the setting since I never really had a reason to, even after switching to radials

You may solve the issue by looking at the front end of the car by ditching stock front struts (and assuming sway bar is long gone based on you parts list) if they are not totally worn out yet. Before that, I’d go full loose extension and full tight on compression. I’m assuming you’re running a 10” wide rear wheel and air pressure down to 17 or so out back with that tire. What does the car ‘60?
