Inconsistent ls1 My 2000 firebird is the most inconsistent car I have ever owned. It will run up to 2 tenths off ? It has 3.42 gears,long tube headers cat and egr delete ,drag radials 165 degree thermostat and has had 2 different tunes by 2 different tuners.
I ran into someone with a similar car and they said they have the same problem, any help ??? could the knock sensors be retarding or advancing the timing ? can I disconnect. I run only 93.5 and can boost the octane if needed.

Turn off your torque limiters. Turn off the knock sensors. Mount the IAT sensor behind the front bumper. Get a WBO2 sensor. Its prolly on the lean side@WOT. Get an SD tune. Then your car will run consistently. Engine temp should be 180° every time you stage the car.
