Battery Cutoff Questions

Battery Cutoff Questions Good Afternoon!
So I have seen a ton of Diagrams for a kill switch on fourth gens and oddly every damn one is different. I want to do it once and right.
My first question is off of my positive side of the battery I have a wire going to the starter, and then a pair going to the alternator and fuse block. When wiring one in what do you do with the wires to the fuse block and alternator?
Second is what is the proper wiring for the shut off switch so it kills all power?
