Default Theoretical Question.....

Ok, just thinking outloud looking for others advice. As of right now, with the mods in the sig on the Z28, it's pretty damn consistent. 11 runs in one night, 9 of them were 1.70-1.71. The other two were 1.69 and 1.68 60fts. Anyways, i'm running e.t. drags and it feels like it's dead hooking. On the 1.69 and 1.68 passes, i have video and could feel it pull the tire a couple inches. NOW, with that said, if it is dead hooking, would I benefit at all with the addition of some HAL/QA1 shocks? Cause I see a lot of others with the same Vig3200 converter cutting much better 60's. Granted weight of the car plays a role, and my car's raceweight is 3400lbs even, and i'm 160lbs. So any thoughts on the shocks?

Chris

Default Re: Theoretical Question.....

Not really if you're dead hooking. The only theorectical way that I can see that they might could help a tiny bit is allowing you to limit the body movement by really stiffening them up. If you could still dead hook with less body movement then you should be just a smidge quicker.
