Two in a row for the "other" car!!!!
Jeff took the Mustang to Lassiter Mountain Sunday night for a 10.5 Outlaw race and did well. He qualified #2 while fighting a fuel problem and managed to stay in a couple of rounds with a bye and a great light in the second round until we found the problem. In the semi's he ran a 5.33 @ 135.00 1.21 60ft. He caught the #1 qualifier, who had been running 5.teens all night, in the finals and had an easy run when the other guy's trans went south. It wasn't pretty but it was a win.
One note.... The car has a new cam and a fresh valve job from Bennett Racing. There's plenty more horsepower to use with just a nitrous jet change. It's getting there!!!
Anybody hear of a 10.5 Outlaw race within a 200 mile radius of Birmingham let us know.
