Default Paging JS

I have a couple of questions from your post on Ls1.com:

I hate racing sometimes.
It was almost a waste of time for me to go tonight.
Track was packed and a car broke which caused an 1HR delay...

But I got some good info....
My shift points are pretty much set.I might try 100 RPM LESS on the 1 to 2 next time just for S&G's.The good news is the KR I was getting is GONE thanks to Julio's tuning,I have 28 to 31 degree's of timing w/NO KR...

So how did I do in +1300 DA's u ask.Well the 4.10/26 tire seemed to work well.I didnt run as good as last time out but the DA was not very good.

I only got 2 runs....
11.60
1.56
119.28

11.54
1.54
119.88

I was off about 2 to 3 tenths.I attribute that to the weather, and my converter. Its dropping 1700 rpm in between gears.Looks like I was right all along,I am going back to a YANK TP4500.

Julio event told me to try the YANK and see how it works,He agreed that the shift extension is TOO far apart for my setup. The good news is I wont need a LU switch anymore with the Yank since its a more efficient verter.

I got good data and I know now my car likes to run threw the cutout.
It likes higher brake stall and it likes the 4.10/26 since it 60ft'd as good as my 28/4.56 combo did most of the time.

I will be racing next week with the Yank and will see if I pick up my 2 to 3 missing tenths?Something tells me I will,Stay tuned for the info.....

When are you throwing in the TP4500 converter? Your sixty seems softer since the 4.11/26 inch slick swap or was track prep shitty?

I would consider keeping the lockup on the car with the Yank in as well. It will be a better comparo for you against the vig and you'll definitely pick up some mph.

Good luck with it.

I dont think he has put everything back in the car. He is shooting for his 10.x first if I am not mistaken.
Cheers,

I hooked the power steering back up.I put the rear speaker panels back in and went back to a M/T 8-ply front tire.I probably added a few lbs to the car and whatever the !PS was worth?

CAR weighs in at 3527lbs (ME 304 and dropping)according to the scale by my work...

Chris, the DA last night was (850/1280) not to mention I got 2 runs ALL NIGHT.I had 3.4KR on my first run and low shift points on both my gear changes.Julio did something to my program because its PERFECT and the feels good...

The 60ft is not really softer.I was averaging 1.52/1.57 with an occasional 1.50/1.49 with the old 28/4.56 setup. Now its consistant 1.54/1.57 but the converter is worse with the 4.10/26 which is very bizarre? Its flasing to 4100 but the shift extension has gotten even worse than before.

6800 to a 5100 drop---->SORRY,BUT THAT SUCKS!
The VIG never feels like its fully coupled up?

I will test the LU w/the YANK TP4500 Chris but I dont think its gonna be worth a whole bunch?

Chris IMO,weight is the real problem. No matter how u slice it,running 10's at 3500+ w/a 346 is ALOT harder than I thought but I'll keep at it...

I should have the TP4500 by the middle of Sept..
Then will see how she runs...
