Holding stall too long?

Holding stall too long? Someone mentioned in another post about holding your stall up too long before launching will cause the car to essentially go into limp mode off the line.
I have noticed this exact same thing. If I stall it up high (3000+rpm) and have to hold it for more than a few seconds the car bogs off the line and I get a horrible 60'.
Does anyone else seem to have this problem???

Re: Holding stall too long? I just never thought about it I guess. Makes perfect sense though. Plus as many lame (really are no stupid questions)questions that are asked in here I thought for sure this one would have been asked before.
