Default Holding stall too long?

Someone mentioned in another post about holding your stall up too long before launching will cause the car to essentially go into limp mode off the line.

I have noticed this exact same thing. If I stall it up high (3000+rpm) and have to hold it for more than a few seconds the car bogs off the line and I get a horrible 60'.

Does anyone else seem to have this problem???

Holding your stall also builds EXTREME heat in your transmission, this may contribute to the problem too.

Mine has done it on several occations, just have to pay closer attention to the lights and hold off a second.

I just never thought about it I guess. Makes perfect sense though. Plus as many lame (really are no stupid questions)questions that are asked in here I thought for sure this one would have been asked before.

Thx for the help guys. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
