It should be a yes or no answer, either they require NHRA rules to be followed, or not. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Just curious <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I'm not running this thing..jsut racing in it but I do race at NPR often. I would be as close to NHRA rules as you can if you want to make sure you can run in that class.

I have seen them do this. if you run below 11.99 to 11.50 and no cage in the car they would let that car make single runs...that means no racing with a car in the lane beside you. In the past..if you run the number..you had to meet tech for that et range to be allowed to race other cars. Does that mean Window net etc. for 9.99...I have no clue. But I would bet that a 10 pt. would pretty much need to be in the car. Just letting youguys know what i have seen.

My personal thoughts..if your running the number and want to race at a quality track..get the safety equipment. If not just to be sure you will be able to run but to protect you just in case something happens.

Tim

According to Thunder IF you are going to run you will need to pass NHRA safety rules. The bellhousing issue and flexplate issue will slide. You must have driveshaft loops and enough cage for the times you are running>

NHRA sanctioned tracks are usually pretty **** about tech. Better have your I's dotted and T's crossed.

Damn, I'm going to need a cage next year myself.

i called and talked with paul at thunder and he did say that if you run the time you will have to have the cage to back it up. they will be lenient on flexplates and things like that. i also asked about having to have a license to run in the 9's and he said they arent to worried about that just the safty restraints in the car mainly. im ready
