Default fan usage at the track

Hi all, I just have a question about how I should go about operating my fans at the track this weekend. I just put in a 160 thermo and the SLP fan switch to hopefully let me get some consistent runs in. Anyway, what I was wondering was how long do you leave the fans on? When do you turn the fans off - before you stage?? or do you just run them all the way down the strip? Also, how much can you run them before they drain the battery? Oh yeah, and when do you run them high vs. low - like high in the staging lanes and low on the track??

Thanks

I run mine on high while in the staging lanes. (I scanned my car this weekend and was reading around 178 with my 160 stat) I turn them off when I go into the burnout box.
