Get a 2015---2018 Silverado starter from Rock Auto. You will need the solenoid pigtail cause its different. I think this starter is better than aftermarket.

Thank you. Why do you say this one over other ones? Do you know how much it weighs? my main concerns are weight and then strengthening that area with two long bolts.
