How fast would this stang be?
How fast would this stang be? Well its a 99-00 GT or Cobra with a blower. with all the bolt ons and on maximum boost, what will his rwhp be like on both the gt and the cobra. and what kind of track number would it pull on 295/30/18 street tires?
Please need all the feedback possible.
That car will be going against 450/430 ls1 N/A raceweight of 3650 vs the stang. the camaro will be on 315/35/17 street tires.
both cars will be full street trim. just racing fuel.
the owner of the car is saying 390rwph is he right or he probably has more?
what are stangs in this type of set-up running like.
cause i seen couple 03 cobras putting about 400 on the wheels and still running the 13.2's all day long. have witness this with my own eyes.

Stock internal max safe boost on a copbra would be about 475 RWHP
Both are kitchen sink numbers. However if the motor is built watch out. There is a blown Mystic cobra running around near me with a built engine on 14LBS in the neighborhood of 550RWHP

Re: How fast would this stang be? i had only been to the track with my setup. the car wouldnt hook at all. i got to 2.0 on the street tires but the weather was like in 90's. but my best run was the second run on the track 12.52 at 119.46 with 2.2 60'. but the thing was i was burning rubber through the 1/8 mile. i was only hooked part of 3rd and 4th. but on the street it hooks 10 times better. its trips the tires a little on fisrts and thats it. no more spinning, even on powershifts. i had a run with a high 11 seconed 300zx with 22pounds of boost. took hime like 3 to 4 cars. he said his car always runs in high 11's with 121 to 122mph.
well with the 475 hp would only be peak hp. i dont think that car will carry that hp through the rmp band will it? plus on street tires what are the chances of that car hooking up.

Re: How fast would this stang be? I am just tring to figure out what type of deal i should work out with him. I alway like to know little about my oponent. if i think i could over power his max hp then i ll go for it. well the guys words are "I dont fear anything bring what ever you got" typical ford driver words i guess. thats what some of them say.
i am not putting ford down it all about what he said. just trying to prove him wrong thats all.
