Default Do Convo Pro rears use same lug nut as fronts?

Doing a search I see the CLL-L5115 lug nut is the one to use with the skinnies, its a 12mmx1.5threadx .500" shank open end. Is that what the rears require too? I'm getting the 7.5" wide rears. Is that shank size to short for the rears or is it ok? I can't find many choices so I think this must be the one. TIA

dave you know those rear wheels stick out more than any other drag wheel? just wondering if you did. i dont think you would, but you wont be able to lower the car ever with those things.

Yep, it will use the same lug nuts on the front and rear. Those are the ones I'm using.

Well if you don't want to hack up the calipers there are these and the $300+ per wheel Bogarts. I've seen them on an Fbody and they don't stick out very much in the 7.5" width. They have a 5" backspace. My 9" wide draglites had a 6.5" backspaces, so it's identical really.

Now if you go to a wider Convo they stick out alot more, because 5" is still the max backspace.
I'm not interested in a lowered car anyways. Thanks for posting though.

I'm running the 15" x 8.5" Convo Pro with a 26" x 11.5" Hoosier QTP. And those babies stick out there! About 5" of clearance from the top of the tire to the fender lip. Face of the tire is flush with the outside panel of the fender, if not slightly out farther. Not what you want with a lowered car. Mine is stock ride height though and they work great! Just buy a ton of Geddex Burnout guard and coat your car with it. I have rubber slung everywhere with these tires!

If you run a skinnier tire you can fit it inside the wheel well. Another guy here runs a skinnier ET Street and it fits in the car very nice. Still out in the fender lip area, but at least 1" inside more than mine.

Good thing though, no grinding of anything required. Fits like a glove!

I got the same combination as Trevor, he has pics here:

Sidewall of tire is flush with top edge of fender well.
