Default 3.25s to 3.70s worth it

Car currently runs 9.567 at 142.10. With 3.25 gears on 28x10.50s. Car kind of seams like a dog on the back half 1/8 to 1/4. I plan on turning it up a little more this year. Goal in 150 mph in the 8s. Build is the normal 99 z28 5.3 ss2 cam, th400 4k stall, 80mm t6 turb on e85. Can't tell you my exact rpm when crossing the finish line. But wondering if going to 3.50s or 3.70s would help or even be worth it.

I would turn it up before I'd re-gear.

I'm running 5.3, baker 230/236 cam, s485, t400, 3.50 gear, 28" tall DRs, 3200 r/w.

I ran this (1/8th and coasted), 9 psi leave, 1.2 ramp, 18 psi total, shifting at 7700.

To add I have a buddy who ran a stock geared T400 and a 3.25 out back, he ran 8.40s/5.40's no problem. I think you should turn it up to where you are comfortable and see what it does. I have a used MW converter in mine and we thought it might not work well but the shift drop has been pretty good so I haven't installed this PTC 17-0 I have sitting around.

How much boost are you making?
