Anyone have problems with solid motor mounts?
Anyone have problems with solid motor mounts? I have been toying with the idea of doing this install w/ my k-mewmber and a-arms.
I am a little concerned with the strain they may put on the aluminum block. The vibration doesn't really bother me since it is a track only car.
What kind of problems are a result of this mod?

Re: Anyone have problems with solid motor mounts? Got them on mine. Haven't had it to the track yet. As far as drivin round town, you can definately feel the car vibrate a whole lot more. I have about 100 miles with them. No cracks, but of course this would be to soon to tell. Sorry couldn't be more help.
Re: Anyone have problems with solid motor mounts? Go with poly mounts! They are the best of both worlds, much less stress/vibration than a solid, and much firmer than the stock mounts. I am running them on both sides and notice almost no vibration.
