Default LS1 runs faster times than LS2?

Someone made a comment that LS1's tend to run faster times than LS2's in fbodies. They thought it was due to rod ratio. I think on paper the LS2 is superior with almost a 1 point jump in compression and a 4 inch bore. Minus points for a LS2 intake. Thoughts.

Hp wise they arent too far off with same cam, but the ls2 will always make about 35lbs of torque more than ls1 if everything the same. The thing is the bigger the engine the more aggressive you can go with the cam and it wont affect it as much for daily driving.
