Results with cutout open and closed
Results with cutout open and closed I ran back to back runs tonight with my cutout closed on the first and open on the second. Here are my results:
Closed
60' = 1.652
1/8 = 7.724 @ 89.00 mph
1/4 = 12.173 @ 110.55 mph
Open
60' = 1.651
1/8 = 7.713 @ 89.15 mph
1/4 = 12.166 @ 110.26 mph
Virtually no difference. This Hooker catback gets the job done.
Closed
60' = 1.652
1/8 = 7.724 @ 89.00 mph

Open
60' = 1.651
1/8 = 7.713 @ 89.15 mph
1/4 = 12.166 @ 110.26 mph
Virtually no difference. This Hooker catback gets the job done.
Re: Results with cutout open and closed i bet its because the tuning is different. On the dyno i lost 30hp going thru the hooker. Course while running the cutout, i did have to lean it out some to get back to the correct a/f

That 11.64 I ran was with approximately 150 pounds less weight, and a lot cooler weather. With the barometer on 29.8, 90% humidity and 85 degrees, 12.1s is about the best I can do.
