suspension questions for the best hook???
EG
Set my Drivers Hal at 4/Pass side at 2
That might bring the front end up more evenly.
Now u would need to worry about the rear of the car.Theses cars again squash on the pass. side more that the drivers side.So what if I set the rear shock on the pass side harder along w/my air bag at 20lbs.Then set my drivers rear shock on one setting more loose
Say 50/50 on the pass rear and 70/30 on the drivers rear.
This would even the rear of the car out too?
Then start playing with tire psi.Lets suppose the car hits harder on the pass side, maybe running alittle more tire psi in that side might help, say 14lbs pass. side and 13lbs drivers side?
Then u start taking 1lb away until u get a nice hook?
Figure 12 to 14lbs HOT.
I'm convinced theres a sweet spot with these shock, they either come up to fast and then come down to fast and un seat the rear tires or there too hard and u dont get enough hook.Double adjustables are the way to go but I already have these and I think I can make them work.
FWIW,guys who dont have any shocks yet.The stock decarbons are pretty good,I'd think long and hard if your wanting drag shocks but again I think my idea might work well w/o buying a anti-roll bar.
Any input....

Does your car really torque that hard to the right or are you just speculating? Either way, I would suggest the following.
1. Always adjust the rear tires evenly. I run my radials as high as 22 psi and bias ply's at 15 psi.
2. The front shocks should be set evenly. The shocks should control the rate of rise and fall of the body.
3. The rear shocks should be even too. I have found that five (stiff) works best on my cars.
4. The air bag is there to take out the roll. If it is not enough, I would suggest installing a stiffer passenger side spring.
5. I have found that a 1" factory style sway bar works pretty well.
6. Make sure that the whole suspension moves freely and check that all fasteners are tight.
Good Luck,

I think once a car runs in the low 11's or faster as yours is you cannot "jimmy rig" the sixty foot any longer, which is what you are looking at doing.
IMO even airbags only get a car so far, that is all temporary solutions to the problem
I believe you HAVE to have both rear shocks at the same setting. Making one stiffer on one side vs the other is NOT the right way to work with a car that is not comign out straight. Think about the dynamics of what your rearend vs your body is doing when you launch a car. Every time I have tried doign that as a temporary fix for a car without enough suspension, it has resulted in spinning, I've never gotten a car to hook that wasn't running the same stiffness in both shocks, same goes for the tire pressure, you don't want those diff either.
often times when i car isn't coming out straight you can watch the rearend try to push to the left or right under the car when its launcghed. think about if you have one shock or tire stiffer on one side..logically how will this keep that rearend from moving left or right in relation to the body? because that is your real problem.
as i think you know cuz you mentioned..the PROPER way to do this is to buy the anti-roll/drag bar for the rear, it will let you leave the rest of the suspension even as it should be and control the rear of the car through preload per side, it is the right way to do it IMO. the bar will also prevent the rearend from moving side to side, solid endlinks make a world of diff.
hope my rambling made some sense.
